Wow! This movie is great. This afternoon, I took my daughter to see Toy Story 3. I don't know exactly what my expecations were. Not really high and not really low. I suppose I was thinking it would be a good movie, not great, but not bad.
I was wrong.
From start to finish I was engaged in the story Read More...

This afternoon we took in the latest feature from Disney's Nature brand of movies, Oceans. I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Would it be a straight documentary look at the oceans or would it have some kind of imposed story line with cute animals as the main characters.
Turns out then went with the documentary approach Read More...

We just got home after a trip to the theatre to see How to Train your Dragon. This is the latest release from Dreamworks' animation division. It's available in 3-D and regular old 2-D. We saw it in 2-D and still enjoyed it.
The story is set on a rocky island in a viking village populated by your typical big burly vikings Read More...

Another review from Miranda:
New Moon is no doubt on its way to becoming one of the biggest movies of the year. It already made $26.3 million at North American box offices in midnight showings on Friday morning and is on track to make much more. I just so happened to see it with some of my friends last night and let me tell you; it was so good! Ok, time to get back to reviews. It's been a couple weeks and I've got some catching up to do.
Last weekend we went to see the new Hayao Miyazaki film, Ponyo. It's been a big hit in Japan as most of his movies are.

Here is a review of the latest Harry Potter film from Miranda, a young girl that I hope will be a reqular contributor.
Last night I saw the sixth Harry Potter movie and it was amazing! After all the Twilight craze I forgot how good the Harry Potter series is. I have to say that the Half-Blood Prince is my favorite Harry Potter book, so I had really high hopes for it (and I wasn't disappointed!) Read More...

This movie is special to me. It has a meaning that most people won't understand because you may not know me personally. Suffice to say, Tinker Bell, they way fairies are born and the images used will forever make me just a little melancholy but still make me smile whenever I see it.
This movie was released in the fall of 2008 straight to DVD Read More...
